1.Pressure and temperature capabilities

In trunnion mounted ball valves, there is spherical control that has its central functional feature as a bore. This bore allows the medium to flow, and, due to this trunnion design, the ball is fixed with the support of the two poles i.e at its top and bottom sides, which will essentially give room for the ball to rotate. Upon opening the valve, this ball rotates at an angle of 90 degrees, making the bore align with the flow of the medium, and hence it will pass. To close the valve, it is turned back to a position that blocks the flow. The design makes this valve very tight and does not leak at any pressure, especially in high-pressure situations.
